Important Announcement:
Dear Pet Parents,
All good things must come to an end. After 51 wonderful years as a family-owned boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare facility, Wintergreen Kennels will be closing its doors in early December, once our last Thanksgiving boarding guest heads home. Additionally, Camp Wintergreen, our daycare for dogs, will close at the end of October.
Saying goodbye is never easy, but for both personal and practical reasons, the time has come. We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have had such wonderful, caring customers over the years. Many of you have come to feel like part of our extended family, and we will miss you deeply. The kindnesses that you have shared with us have been appreciated more than you know. Thank you so much for trusting us to take care of your beloved pets. It has been an honor to do so.
We could not leave without celebrating our hardworking and compassionate staff. Some faces are more recent, and some have been with us for twenty years or more. All are attentive and caring, and have worked with outstanding dedication through all kinds of weather, putting in long hours to give the best possible care to your pets. The world is a better place for having these tremendous people in it, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to have known and worked with each of them.
